Trotting Horse reflects both personal ties and artistic continuity. Two close friends, whose lives are deeply rooted in the equestrian world, first commissioned my earliest bronze, and their horses continued to inspire subsequent works. This piece, aligned with my Artists for Conservation mandate, draws on the disciplined movements of dressage, where young horses are trained through precise circles and measured steps.
The sculpture preserves not only the elegance of form but also the physical sensation of presence—the remembered weight and rhythm of the animal passing close by. In bronze, the horse becomes more than subject: it is motion held in balance, strength rendered with grace.
